Satyapal Menon is Senior Journalist, Documentary Filmmaker, and media educator. After completing Master's in Communication and Journalism (MCJ), he embarked on a career in print media and later diversified into electronic media. His eventful journey of over three decades in the media involved coverage of an extensive spectrum of News stories, analyses and features related to Socio-economic and political developments, Environmental issues, Business and Economy, Science and Technology, Agriculture etc. Satyapal's print media experience comprised stints in reputed publications like The Indian Express, Deccan Chronicle, Navhind Times, EENADU, The Dollar Business, Metro India, Hans India etc. He has also directed, produced and scripted documentaries and corporate films for various channels and organizations. His documentaries mostly focused on human endeavors, success stories, culture, heritage and historical footprints and landmarks. He has traversed extensively across many parts of India for his print and electronic media assignments, which not only enriched his knowledge about the socio-economic and cultural diversity of the country, but also gave him insights into the needs and aspirations of the populace in general.
